TandyPro® Tools are premium leather craft tools designed and crafted in China by experienced and professional leather crafters. These beautifully designed tools are manufactured using steel, brass, and engineered wood, and are crafted for precision, balance, ease of use, comfort, ergonomics, and long wear. Created to be used on high end leather for premium and professional leather projects.
Weighing in at 20 ounces, this tooling maul is perfectly balanced for long tooling sessions without the typical hand and wrist fatigue that develops when tooling for extended times. The handle is a beautifully stained engineered wood with solid brass fittings built to last a lifetime. Weights can be removed to adjust the overall weight of maul. Slight warping of the poly-head over time while tooling is normal and will increase the grip of strikes on tools. These mauls are designed to be used for tooling, not punching. Using this tool with excessive force could result in plastic flaking from the head or other failure
